The Official First Day

Well, today, November 2, 2015, is the first official day of my retirement. I no longer have any work responsibilities and I didn't have to get up early and drive 75 miles to school. Damn, it sure felt good to roll over and sleep an extra hour! I managed to walk 50 minutes on the treadmill ( viewing a 5k walk video from Austrailia) and do two loads of laundry, managed to take care of my husband, who's r covering from recent surgery, and catch up on a couple of the shows we recorded on the DVR. Not bad for the first day, plus, it has rained all day! Posted this lovely picture on Facebook this morning. Loved the comment from my Daughter-in-law, a "title" well earned!😀

This was dinner tonight. I love to cook when I have time!
